Off-White - "What stars are you under?" - 2021

Together with Virgil Abloh and the team at Off-White, we explored the definition of what a "real" experience is as our digital and physical life blends more and more. By leveraging technologies like photogrammetry, we pushed the boundaries of these definitions to create an interactive experience.

Abu Dhabi F1 GP - Event Identity - 2023

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is the last F1 circuit of the year and the climax of Formula 1 racing. It celebrates the pinnacle of motorsport, the best in global music and entertainment and where racers become champions.

I was responsible for developing and pushing the creative narrative for the multiple consumer facing points and overseeing the creative, produced and created by Woodwork 3D design studio.

adidas Creators Club - motion identity - 2020

Together with the team at Adidas and overseeing several independent motion designers and 3D designers, we created a fluid motion identity made for the adidas global membership program and all its moving parts. Rag and Bone - Metamorphosis, Virtual Runway Show - 2021

An experiential short film turning the runway into a digital landscape. Renowned filmmaker Ruth Hogben was approached by Rag and Bone, she reimagine an ubiquitous part of New York architecture without any boundaries. 

Together with Ruth and The Fabricant, I guided both parties, balancing creative/artistic and 3D pipeline workflows, to develop the experimental creative within budget and timings.

As an independent creative director I led a team of architects, designers, strategists and copywriters to bring 11 agencies together in a new brand identity and new HQ. 

My role was to select and direct a group of creative studios, from concept to completion, ensuring a high degree of innovation, creativity and quality for ACE’s presence in the physical and digital realm, including the architecture of the new headquarters, sonic identity and community building.

Odido - Brand Launch + Digital Experience - 2023

For the launch of Odido (FKA as T-Mobile NL & Tele2), as part of Hypersolid, I led the team that was responsible for the entire new digital brand experience from concept to design to launch. We created the digital identity that was made to scale for a wide range of platforms, from mobile apps to digital in-store displays all while maintaining a unified recognisable visual language.

— MY BACKGROUND

I am Vinnie, an multidisciplinary brand creative director. My focus is on shaping brands and digital experiences in the realms of contemporary culture.

Music videos was what originally pulled me into the scene, the language of everything visual and music amplified. Eversince working at MTV, I have worked at several digital experience agencies (AKQA, Sid Lee) and with brands (adidas, Nike, Off-White, Hyundai) to name a few.

My passion is capturing people's imagination in new ways by exploring projects that are visually exciting and I also enjoy blending digital, physical & virtual worlds that consider all the sensorial elements. I’m all about crafting interactive experiences that ignite a sense of wonder in users.

The projects I work on vary from creative direction, visual identity, concept development, digital experience design, motion behavior & 3D explorations, film & photography art direction, visual systems and spatial design.

I lead multidisciplinary teams as a creative director or hands-on design director, with the team composition carefully curated to fit the needs of the project. 

I work alongside brands, studios and artists at any stage of their journey. Sometimes I guide artists / brands in making their vision come to life and at other times I am provided a clean sheet, crafting a shared vision together with a brand. From my base in Amsterdam (NL), I collaborate globally, working both remotely, and frequently joining teams on location around the world.

I realize ideas across a wide range of fields including marketing, design, fashion, music and architecture. I have concepted brands, established creative strategies, products, visual narrative systems, launched global campaigns, explored motion behaviors, worked on 3d digital fashion shows and spatial designs.
