Hello, I’m Vincent Venema, an independent creative director rooted in graphic design and visual culture. I craft brand identities, visual languages, and experiences.

I work in creative direction across brand identity, strategy and concept, reaching into digital, spatial, motion, film and sound. For brands in design, sports, fashion, and music.

I lead multidisciplinary teams as creative director or hands-on design director, with the team composition carefully curated to fit the needs of the project. I’m drawn to work that spans digital, physical, and virtual spaces, engaging all the senses, bringing together design, code and sound.

After gaining experience across entertainment (MTV, Nickelodeon), fashion (G-Star Raw), sports (adidas, Nike) and creative technology (AKQA, Sid Lee), I began working independently with a focus on brand experience and creative craft, leading projects from concept through delivery for agencies and brands.

I've built brands from the ground up, crafting creative concepts, designing digital experiences, and shaping brand systems. Along the way, I've directed global campaigns and motion, built sonic identities, and staged live events.

From fresh ideas to established names, I work alongside brands, studios, and artists at every stage. Based in Amsterdam, regularly in Geneva, working remotely and on location.
